FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Embroidery, and how does it differ from DTF printing?
- Embroidery: Embroidery involves stitching thread directly onto fabric to create designs or text. It adds texture and dimension to the fabric.
- DTF Printing: DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a method where designs are printed onto a special film, then transferred onto fabric using heat. It allows for vibrant, full-color prints with intricate details.
What is the extra material on the inside of my embroidered apparel?
The extra material on the inside of embroidered apparel is applied during the embroidery process and is called a backing or stabilizer. This backing is used to support the fabric and the embroidery stitches, ensuring the design stays intact and looks professional.
Can I provide my own garments for embroidery or DTF printing?
No, we do not accept customer provided garments.
Our decision is rooted in several factors aimed at maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction:
- Quality Assurance: Our embroidery machines and DTF Prints are calibrated and optimized to work seamlessly with specific fabrics and materials. Using customer-provided garments introduces variables such as fabric tension, thickness, and texture, which can compromise the quality and consistency of the embroidery or DTF Transfer.
- Risk Mitigation: Embroidering and transferring on customer-provided garments carries the risk of errors or damage to the fabric during the embroidery and transfer process. We take pride in our meticulous attention to detail and prefer to work with garments that we have thoroughly inspected and prepared to ensure a flawless finish.
- Material Compatibility: Certain fabrics and materials may not be suitable for embroidery or dtf due to their composition or construction.
If you need a certain material, please submit an inquiry form on the Contact page or send us an email at orders@reneaandcompany.com and we will do our best to accommodate your needs!

Custom orders are completed within 7-10 business days after design approval but again depends on the factors previously mentioned.
